Angles and lines are beautiful. Though I reacted with apprehension about the textured symbols, specifically the blue in conjunction with the color scheme already in place on the farm, I appreciate them more and more each time I view these pictures. Text as texture is interesting to me as it reminds me of a similar thing with sound. For example, Native Americans use something called "vocables" in song/storytelling which has no recognizable translation in written/spoken languages. They are sounds which are meant to invoke feeling. I also believe the blue is necessary for the shapes to take clear form. I stand corrected and will let Anne know.
What about squirrels on the glass? How would it hold if a critter were to linger on the edge?
I love the lines in the ceiling...they are absolutely beautiful. Have you considered the stability of the stained glass if a critter were to make a home there? What if a squirrel climbed up and walked on the edge of the glass or a bird nested there? How is the glass stabilized?
I think the glass could handle a nest, but maybe not a tree tiger. Anyways I think there is too much foot traffic for it to be an issue.
